Meet Cleopartra! This blue beauty is a stunning and majestic 15-month old purebred Cane Corso Mastiff. She is spayed and up to date on her shots.

Cleo was surrendered to a high-kill shelter in Philadelphia with a prolapsed vulva and needed immediate surgery. Her owner wanted her to be “fixed” so that she could still have puppies that he could sell. Miraculously, the shelter manager was able to convince Cleo’s former owner to surrender her over, as she knew what would happen if Cleo did not get surgery.

The shelter immediately reached out to us for help and Cleo was in our care in no time. Her surgery was a complete success and she is now completely recovered and ready to find her forever home.

Cleo was underweight at about 85 lbs. when she came to us, but is packing on the pounds in foster care. She’ll probably reach about 100 lbs at a nice weight. Cleo is currently in foster care where she is crate trained and housebroken. She LOVES other animals and is excellent with all of the dogs and cats in her foster home. She loves toys and has no food or toy aggression. She loves to be a lap dog, she knows sit and down and is very eager to please. She’s very submissive and is always looking for her belly to be rubbed.

She was probably abused by her former owner and can be shy around men, but has since warmed up to a couple of guys in her new life. With some patience and treats, she can definitely be a daddy’s boy. Cleo is very typical of the breed and adopters with Cane Corso experience will be given a preference. She loves to snore and makes lots of mastiff woo-woo noises. She can be wary of new strangers but has gotten over that for the most part.
