Sweet Cleo found herself being taken to the shelter, after she was discovered in her home, with her owner who had passed away, and other family members didn't want to take her in. This lovable, little lady was sad and confused when she first came to her foster home, as she wasn't sure about everything that had just happened to her, or this new home she was in. But after only a few days, we started to see her wag her tail and showing us her beautiful smile, which she loves to do all the time now, especially when you call her name.
Cleo is about 6 years old, and we believe she is a Belgian Shepherd/Sheltie mix. She is a bit overweight right now, as we think her previous owner loved to spoil her, and may have not exercised her much, but with the regular exercise she is now getting, she will get her girlish figure back. She is a little shy at first when meeting new people, but warms up right away when she know you want to be her friend. Cleo is friendly with people of all ages, both children and adults alike. She adores being petted, and gives the gentlest of kisses. She gets along well with the other mellow dogs in her foster home, but is just as content to hang out with her people, or by herself, catching a quick nap.
She is spayed, up to date on all her shots, and is microchipped. She is housebroken, and is well behaved when left free in the house, when her foster family is not home. She walks very nicely on a leash, and enjoys going for walks. If you are looking for a sweet, mellow companion, who will just look at you with those adoring eyes of hers, then look no further, because Cleo is your girl!! We think she is a beautiful girl both inside and out, and know you will too!!
