My Story

Clem (04-146) is a tri-colored male who is 5 to 6 years old. He was found as a stray by a family who asked their neighbors to keep him for awhile. But the neighbors decided to become Clem's foster family! Clem gets along well with kids and with the other dogs in his foster home. He is a super-sweet and loving boy. He just wants to be someone's lap dog. He's obviously had affection and good care at some point because he shows no fear of people - even the very active 7-year-old boy in his foster home. He has no issues with aggression even around food. At most, he will give a little "woof" if he wants another dog to leave his dish alone. Clem is learning housetraining and is adapting to his crate fairly well. He has just had his first heartworm treatment, so his foster family is trying to keep him calm - not really a problem since what he really likes to do is lie around and sleep! He weighs 40 lbs now, but he's still pretty skinny from being "on the road." His foster family says, "We love this guy and think he'll be a great addition to a home that can give him a little extra attention and loving care".
