Claire has found her forever home with the Hyde family in N. Easton, MA
UPDATE 6/29: Claire is being fostered this week in Walpole and Mashpee, MA. Please apply for this GREAT little dog now!
Meet Claire, she is a 1 1/2 yr old JRT Mix weighing 20 lbs. She was dropped off at a shelter by her owner along with her two sisters and brother who were also posted on this site and adopted. Claire was adopted as well but returned to the rescue due to issues with her housebreaking and not able to exercise her enough due to the adopter's health. However since being in foster care she has shown herself to be 95 percent housebroken. She will occasionally piddle just a small amount in the house for reasons not entirely clear. In her previous home she did not have a fenced yard and now that she does have a fenced yard she is much better with doing almost all her business outdoors. She likes just about anything and enjoys playing tag with other dogs. She loves playing with a ball and chew toys, but her most favorite thing is being loved on & cuddled. Claire is an affectionate & lovable girl with med-high activity level. She knows her basic commands. She has been around children as young as 3 & as old as 16, and does fine. She gets along great with other dogs and has normal curiosity towards cats. If this precious girl is right for your home please apply for her today! Her adoption fee is $375.
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
If you are approved to adopt, please submit the $100 deposit by clicking on the Paypal button below. STOP! If you have not been notified of your approval status do not make a deposit.
