My Story

Cimarron and Chinook are spayed female malamute/samoyed mixes. They are friendly and nice with people and have lived with the same family since they were puppies. They are being surrendered due to the death of their owner. POLARIS would prefer placing these girls together - they are tightly bonded. Chinook is a grey & white -looks more like a typical mal - and Cimarron is black & white spotted and appears more like a pinto coloring - the dogs were litter mates. Both dogs love children and will lick their faces. Chinook likes to jump up on people (in excitement) and so should be supervised when around young children and the elderly. The dogs love to go on walks and are dog social, but pull quite strongly on lead. They know a few basic commands and will need some training. Both dogs are overweight and will need to build up their exercise patterns in order to get back into "their desired girlish figures". No none food aggression with either dog. -What a wonderful pair for a lucky family!
