Chloe is a 3 and a half year old purebred female Samoyed. Chloe's owner no longer has time for her due to a change in his living situation. He loves her very much and wants to find her a home with people who have time to spend with her. Here is what he has to say about her:
''Chloe is a devoted family dog. Our neighbors constantly comment on how friendlly she is, eager to be close to me at all times, easily exciteable, can get overexcited with visitors, loves any attention and to play, especially likes tug of war and chase, despite exciteability, when she's not being played with or is not around a stranger, she's content to relax and is very mellow, loves to carry her favorite toys around with her. She loves physical affection from adults or kids, she is comfortable with rougher affection from young children. As long as she's getting petted or played with, she's ecstatic! Loves chasing flashlights and laser pens. Scared of fireworks and has unusual fears of hand towels, throw pillows and vacuum cleaners. Aside from these things, she is relatively fearless. Chloe is a lady and will only eat her canned food from a flat dinner plate. She loves marshmallows. She also loves to affectionately nibble on people's fingernails. Chloe does not like to be brushed, but tolerates it. She is an indoor dog, but loves to be outside and enjoys long walks and big areas to play in. Chloe knows give paw, sit and lay down, and she understands 'go sleepy' to mean that it's bedtime. Understands the meaning of 'yes', 'no', 'go potty' and 'outside.'
Chloe was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at 8 months old. She had surgery to correct the problem and has not had any problems since then.
