Chloe

Chloe – what an adorable fluffy sweetheart! Her breed is unknown-based on internet photos we came up with the mix above, but she could have other breeds (Shih Tzu tail?) in her history. She was turned over to rescue for the reason many dogs and cats are given up – parents got a pet for the kids who didn’t follow through on timely walking and taking care of the pet and the chores fell onto the parents who work and are tired upon returning home! So the result was “let’s take her to the pound” (dad) or “maybe we can give her to so-&-so who rescued a cat” (mom). Obviously mom won out and now Chloe is in rescue! We were told she knows some commands like sit, roll over and shake but we are having to get a human translator on board as her first language isn't English! Chloe is great with the other dogs and cats in her foster home and obviously loves children! She likes to sit next to you, lay at your feet if you are on the computer and loves a comfy lap. Chloe is about 9 months old and currently weighs 15lbs. She shouldn’t get much over 22lbs when fully grown. She is mostly housebroken and must be taken on regular walks. We don't think she was properly housebroken at her original home due to the kids not meeting their end of the bargain.
