Chippewa

What a doll! Chippewa came to us from the Red Lake Indian reservation. He is about 5 months old (born April 2005) and is a large mixed breed, probably Shepherd and Labrador, his ears do not stand up. He currently weighs about 40#, but is growing. He will a big boy!

Chippewas is crate trained and we are working on his house training. He actually pees on command. He is doing pretty well.

He is extremely playful with other dogs, is fine with cats, and is good around children. He is a little shy, so he lays down whenever unsure about something.

Chippewa enjoys watching TV, is very quiet in the house, walks well on a leash, and also runs alongside a bicycle for exercise.

He is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and already knows SIT/STAY. He is a very smart boy!

This dog's adoption fee is $265 (plus tax). This includes being neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if we feel it is needed), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
