Chip is a 5 year old mostly Jack Russell terrier who was found wandering in the LA area with some wounds on his neck and his ears partially chewed off by flies. This friendly affectionate boy had a registered microchip but the owner was not interested in getting their dog back.
Chip is great with people and other dogs. He walks fairly well on leash and he has good off leash recall on rural acreage. He does not seem to have had much experience with houses - stairs were a new challenge - but he is super smart and willing to learn. He crates well and is learning about house training very quickly.
This is a really nice terrier with enormous potential and a big heart. He will be available for adoption after neuter surgery at the end of July.
His adoption fee is $200. Chip is currently in foster care in the Tacoma area.
