Adopted September 2006:
China, who has been re-named Angel by her loving new family has now been spayed, has gained weight and become an official family member!
Angel will be heading for her spay and check-up with Dr. Rebele at Cedar Grove in Mission and once spayed will be adopted by this wonderful Shar-pei loving family!
Wonderful Update, Foster Found!
China has found a loving foster home! She has been taken under TnT's wings and is now living with a marvelous family and their two male Shar-pei in Coquitlam. If all goes as well as their first few days together China may have found a new permanent home!
Of course this will be up to the boys and the cats too. She loves them and if the feeling is mutual and stays that way she will have a few new siblings to play with. Paws crossed they will all be one happy family soon!
Thank you Don, Jaylene, Kolby, William (the boys) and your entire family for taking China in with such short notice and such open arms!
Please check back here for updates on China's adoption status, to find out more about her and for new photos soon.
July 12, 2006:
China is not with TnT Shar-pei Rescue but we are hoping to help her find her way to a new home.
China is only 8 - 10 months old and already abandoned and alone. She is not doing well in the shelter environment and we are hoping to help find a temporary foster home or forever home for her very soon.
She is afraid and overwhelmed right now. She is spending all of her time hiding in the back of her kennel. China needs a home that understands the breed and know her true nature will come to life once she is in a home and out of the shelter. We are sure she will come out of her shell and enjoy life once again. For now, she waits scared and alone until a place for her can be found for her.
Do you have a place in your home for this scared girl?
