My Story

Meet our little Chihuahua boy Chico. He is not your typical yappy Chihuahua(his foster mom has 3 Chi's and knows the breed). He is so laid back and just wants a lap or warm chair to lay on. He doesn't bark or bother any of the other dogs or cat. He is sweet as can be, a little timid at 1st so a home without small children would be best. He is approx 8lbs and ONLY 2 yrs old, and loves to cuddle under the covers at night. He is currently in a foster home because he was so scared at the shelter. IN his foster home he is doing really well and she says he is housetrained there with her. If your interested you must fill out an application first, and then we can arrange meeting with him at his foster home which is located in evansville IN.
Our online applications and more info about our facility found at www.warrickhumanesociety.org!

All of our dogs receive extra love and attention. They are tested for Heartworms, vaccinated, spay/neutered, microchipped and Revolution flea/tick applied prior to adoption. We REQUIRE an approved application including vet reference for adoption and a home visit in some circumstances. Each dog will be placed in a home that is appropriate for that dog and we reserve the right to deny adoption for any reason.

Here’s how it works: ShelterCare Pet Insurance Programs cover you when your pet needs essential veterinary care from an illness or injury. Also, every time a completed application for a ShelterCare program is generated through our shelter’s website, we automatically receive a $25 donation to help cover common needs like blankets, litter and food. This donation is of no cost to you and provides us with essential funds. Make the right move and enroll today!
