Meet super adorable Chica! Chica is a little min pin mix and is looking for her loving, forever home! Chica is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 11 pounds.
Chica was originally found as a stray-emaciated and starving. Someone took her in, but unfortunately lost his job, was evicted, and can no longer keep this poor girl. He relinquished her to Scout's Honor so that she can find a new permanent home. We hope that home is with you!
As Chica's foster mom describes her, Chica is a delightful, happy, sweet little girl who is full of love. She loves to give kisses, sleeps very well at night, and does not even wake you up in the morning. Chica has a loud bark, but she does not use her little voice very often. She is a good listener and will come when called and will stop doing something if you call her away or say 'no.'
Chica walks well on a leash. She likes to go on walks, and although she should be an inside dog, she does like sun herself outside. Chica also has an excellent appetite. She is not food aggressive, but does not like other dogs getting near her food when she is eating and will growl to protect it (only from other dogs, she does not growl at humans!).
Chica is good with other dogs, although it took her a few days to warm up to her new four-legged canine foster sibling. She is also fine with her foster sibling of the feline variety, although her foster mom has not let her around the cat without supervision.
Chica did get a little snappy when she was scared, but her foster mom says it only happened with the vet tech when she was going in to be spayed (who can blame her?!). But again, in the words of her foster mom: 'All in all she's a delightful, happy, sweet little girl who is full of love.'
