Chewy is a long-haired Chihuahua who came to the shelter in mid-November. He is our senior dog in residence, being about 10 years old (who would abandon a 10 year old sweet little dog?). Chewy's "interesting" face calls to mind Chewbacca from Star Trek -- hence his name! Chewy cannot be a more sweet or loving dog -- he loves to sit in your lap and be cuddled! He is very healthy and is also quite active for his age. Chewy would make a wonderful companion or member of the family for those who are seeking a healthy dog past puppyhood, who has tons of love to give! Please come to the shelter and meet Chewy!
