Chewy and his siblings have had a rough start, but with the help of a wonderful Foster family, they are learning to be model citizens in a loving home. Now they are looking for their forever homes.
On the 14th of December, we had a snow storm here in the Cache Valley and at 5 AM, the puppies now Foster Mom, got a call from her neighbor telling her that she found a puppy crying in her yard and that there was another one in (Foster Mom's) yard under the truck. She went outside and found two out there instead, Chewy and Daisy. She brought those two in and woke up her son. They spent the rest of the morning vigorously warming them up. They were soaking wet, dehydrated, starved, and hypothermic. Luckily their Foster Mom is an EMT and knew what to do. Later, she went to her neighbor’s house to see how the other puppy was doing, (Fred). He was not doing as well as his siblings. So she took him as well to keep the puppies together. He did better when he got with the others.
Now they are all doing fantastic and adjusting well. They are adventurous and smart. They are half way potty trained but Foster Mom has so many commitments that she won't have time to train them fully. They all follow her and know their names. They thrive on loves and cuddles. They currently have some small food aggression tendencies, but, they are quickly learning that they will always have enough to eat, now that they are being cared for, and the aggression is getting much better.
These puppies will all do well in loving homes with families that are willing to love them, train them and keep them safe.
The adoption fee is $150, which includes spay/nueter surgery and vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies.)
