Chesty

Chesty is a Labrador Retriever that is 8 - 10 years old. He weighs 108 lbs and is long haired. Chesty will make a great family dog that will be loyal, loving and patient. He has had his 5-way shot and kennel cough. The Shelter is Open: Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Sunday. The shelter is closed on all county observed holidays. Because most of our dogs in the shelters are strays, we do not have any knowledge about each individual dog's background, so we cannot make any health claims or behavior assurances concerning our dogs. Please take the dog to the vet to be evaluated & vaccinated as soon as possible after adoption. Spay & Neuter coupons are available with each adoption courtesy of The Ross County Humane Society and participating local veterinarians. Please call the pound at 740-775-6808 to check on the dog's availability before driving a long distance. Adoptions and rescues are first come, first serve; please CALL AND EMAIL the shelter requesting that a hold be placed on the dog, and ALSO INCLUDE [email protected] ON ANY EMAIL REQUEST FOR A HOLD. If no answer at the shelter, please leave voicemail indicating the dog you would like to place a hold on. Rescue groups with an APPROVED RESCUE CONTRACT ON FILE WITH THE SHELTER can pull a dog for a reduced fee. Please visit the shelter website to obtain a copy of the rescue contract, and email the completed contract to the shelter AND [email protected]. The breeds listed are only our best guess.
