Hi! My name is Chessie. When GSDRGA rescued me, I was a skinny little thing. They fed me a whole lot of good food, and I stayed skinny. That’s when they realized I had an Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency with keeps me from properly absorbing my food. Once they started adding a supplement to my food, I started filling out. Lots of dogs have the same problem, and they live normal, active lives. I plan to be just like them. There’s a bunch more information on the GSDRGA Website. The enzymes aren’t terribly expensive―maybe $50 a month, but I’m so lovable that I’m worth it.
I’m a little over a year old now, and I love being around other dogs and children. I don’t do well around cats. I am housebroken, crate trained and am getting really good with my house manners. I’d really like a home with another dog so we can play all day.
They tell me I’m spayed and up to date on all my shots, whatever that means.
