Cheddar~Adopted

Cheddar was apparently just having a harmless sniff about in front of his house when he was suddenly arrested by the canine cops and taken downtown to the pound. When his former owner was approached to pick him up and pay the citation, he claimed he’d never met the dog, and so poor ol’ Cheddar was left to face a cruel fate at the pound. Lucky for Cheddar, someone from DogsOnly heard about his plight and showed up at the pound to bail him out. Cheddar was at first a little flighty and nervous, but who could blame him after everything that had happened to him. He’s probably been the victim of abuse because he’s easily scared if anyone moves abruptly around him. He is now staying in a foster home full of happy fun loving canine companions and has already made friends with every one of them. Taking the lead from the other dogs in his foster home Cheddar is becoming quite fond of all the attention he’s receiving and already likes and wants to greet all of the people he meets. He’s also becoming quite fond of attention and likes all of the people he meets. Cheddar is learning to trust people again, and every day makes all the difference in the world. Cheddar is a beautiful adult Golden Retriever mix who weighs about 40 Lbs. While Cheddar patiently waits at DogsOnly for his new home and family, we’ll be taking good care of him and helping him to prepare for his new life. Cheddar will be getting a complete medical evaluation, including his alter, all shots, rabies, fecal and worming medication, flea/tick preventative, heartworm preventative, micro-chipping, grooming and payment of up to 50% towards basic training classes. We’ll also be enjoying the occasional belly run, cuddle, and game of fetch.
