My Story

Hi! My name is Chato(15) and I’m a lovely, small-sized dog with short, brown hair (I look like a boxer but in the size of a Chihuaha). I’ve already been dewormed, vaccinated and neutered through the adoption program. My friend Sandy(7) and I were found living at a kindergarten. Since then we’ve been housed by two foster homes. My vet noticed I had a problem with my hip, and after some studies, they found that I have a femoral head dislocation (or luxation). Since I behave normally and do not display pain, they decided not to perform surgery on me for the moment, but it’s important that my new family knows of this preexisting condition of mine. I live mainly in the patio of my foster home, where I socialize with other dogs and I’m also starting to hang out with cats. I used to hang out with a kid at the beginning as well without any problem. I’m very noble and friendly, and my favorite hobbies are sleeping and playing with Sandy. We’re pretty much inseparable so if there was a chance of us getting adopted together, that would be fabulous! I hope to find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me!
