Reason for staying at The Pet Connection's home for pets: Charms came to us from the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.
Heartworm status: Negative
Veterinarian examination notes:Healthy girl. She is a bit on the skinny side but that's all.
Special Physical Traits:Smallish/medium-sized girl, witth a beautiful short brown coat, pretty brown eyes, adorable pointy ears, and a sweet little chubby face.
DOB or Age: 1/1/09
Activity Level Energetic. Loves to play, learn, and for walks. But can also sometimes be very snuggly & lazy.
Indoor or Outdoor: Indoor
Good with strangers: A little bit timid at first but is very sweet.
Good with Adults: Yes
Good with Dogs:Yes Charms is great with other dogs! Can sometimes be a tiny bit bossy with smaller dogs but for the most part is awesome with other canines. She has roomed with several of our dogs & her current room-mate & BFF is Patrick a HUGE boxer lab mix. They snuggle and love to play together. So cute.
Good with Cats: No. She needs to be in a home without cats.
Good with Children: Charms does well around well-behaved children. Was even in a foster home with several young children for a while. She would love to run around in the yard with the boys and is just very well mannered around kids.
Likes: Being loved on, running around outside, learning new things, playing fetch, people, other dogs, tennis balls, comfy beds, chasing cats, and kids.
Does not like: Cats
Food: Dry Innova
Favorite Toy:Tennis balls, she loves them.
Commands:Come, sit, stay, etc.
Housetrained: Yes
Crate trained: Yes
Any behaviors that need improving:Nope, charmsey is good girl! (:
Additional Information: She is a very sweet little girl who can be a little aloof at first but it only takes several minutes for her to completely warm up to you. Charms is just an overall great girl and you will fall in love with her!! Charms is in foster care so please call ahead if you are interested in her.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED TO ADOPT
Yearly membership is $25

Prior to adoption, our animals are:

**Tested for diseases

**Vaccinated

**Spayed/neutered

**Microchipped

Adoptions are FREE to members with a $25 administrative fee.
*Dogs under 40 pounds have an additional $60 charge.
The Pet Connection offers adopters 10 day pet insurance, dog obedience classes, and cat scratching posts for a reduced fee.
