My Story

Please contact Nancy Logan ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.Yes - Prince comes before his name!CHARMING NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Charming and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Aug. 4th) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Alexandria (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)! Name: Charming Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix Best Guess for Age: 4 years as of May 2024 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 93 lbs Gets Along With: Charming does well with other dogs. He has lived with children of various ages, as young as four. Charming would do best in a home with no cats. Currently Living at: DC foster All about Charming: Charming arrived into our care as a puppy and was quickly adopted out. He was well taken care of and in a loving home for nearly four years. Through no fault of his own, he now needs a new home. He is eager to once again have his own humans to love and be loved by. His previous humans say he is a sweetie who has done well with children of various ages, including as young as four. He's not a dog with crazy high energy - he can be mellow while also enjoying his walks. He does well on leash. He did well in the crate in his previous home as well. They also said this: 'Charming is very laid back, he loves to play and have his stomach rubbed. He's great in the home and around children. He would fit well with someone that can spend time with him. He loves attention.' Charming is an all-around good dog who gets along well with people and pups. He's ready to make another family very lucky! What My Foster Says About Me: Charming is a very gentle boy who loves to lounge around rather than be outside all day playing fetch. He does well in his crate. I think he'd do well in a house or apartment with an area where he can be outside and just lounge around in the sun, because that seems to be what he likes doing. He's very much the dog version of an 'old soul.' Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
