Hi everyone! My name is Charlotte and I'm a real people-loving dog! I really love to be around people, but I don't bug them. I just lay down on the floor near them. I'm quite young, only about a year and half old, but I'm pretty laid-back. I don't even pull on the leash! I arrived at New Hope on April 23 so everyone is just getting to know me. When I got to my foster home I was a little leary of my doggie foster brothers and sisters, but after a couple of hours we all became good friends. As you can see from my picture, I'm definitely mostly yellow lab, but somewhere in my family tree there was maybe a grandma or grandpa who was a bit shorter and longer, like maybe a basset hound. Hmmm...who knows? I had a litter of puppies not too long ago, but they're old enough now that they don't need me anymore. So, now I'm looking for my forever home. I'm already crate-trained and house-trained. And New Hope is making sure that I get spayed and get all my vaccinations. I think I'd make a wonderful addition to any family.
Adoption Application

NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!
Definitions:
Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)
On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).
Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!ent with this boy.
