My Story

Just look at this face! This is Charlie and he was born the first week of July 2008. He rescued when he was a couple of days old and was bottle fed goat's milk until weaned. Charlie is a Border Collie mix, but looks like and has the hair of a Golden Retriever. Charlie was rescued by a family that lives on a ranch. Charlie gets along well with all the other dogs, farm animals and his human family. Arrangements must be made at time of adoption for his neuter, dew claws removal and continuation of vaccinations. Charlie needs to have a fenced yard for running, playing and his safety. Charlie has been raised as a family dog, not an outdoor/kennel dog. He wants a "forever home" where he can sleep by the fire and be with his humans every day and night. If you would like to learn more about Charlie, please call Best Friends of Baker, Inc. at 541-519-7387 or check us out on our website at www.bestfriendsofbaker.org.
