My Story

A Special Needs Dog! Chance is the last puppy out of a litter of 6. He is deaf. He was adopted once, and was brought back because his condition was more than they could handle. While they had him, they took him to the vet, and was told that he could possibly go blind as well. He has had his first puppy shots, and has been started on heartworm preventative. He is a great puppy that really deserves a chance! He has had a rough life so far! He was on the verge of being set out somewhere when he came to stay with us. His siblings found homes quickly, and he was left alone. He does really well children. He also gets along with other dogs and cats. He has learned some signs, and knows sit and lay down. We just have to touch him to get his attention. He is also, very attentive to the other dogs, and likes to stay close to them. He relies on them a lot. I think he would do well in a home with another dog for guidance and comfort. He is a great boy who deserves a loving family who is willin gto work with him and be patient. DOB: June 2008, 4 months Coat: Blue Merle, Rough Coat Weight: 22 lbs, will mature around 35 Activity Level: Puppy Energy, Active Companion
