Chance is a handsome, sleek brindle pitbull rescued from the ravages of hurricane Katrina and brought back to Iowa. He is now with us at the sanctuary enjoying life with the other dogs here. Chance is a very refined dog, he was obviously well trained and a house dog. He is one of the best behaved dogs at our shelter, so don't be deceived by the "pit bull", he's a very sweet, gentle dog. Always licks us when we give him his food, plays nicely with other dogs, he now has a yellow lab mix companion--Winkle, also a hurricane rescue for company. Chance has a shiny smooth coat and is very healthy, he's had all his medical up to date including heartworm test. He's one of the most popular dogs at our shelter to walk and play with. Someone is going to be very lucky to have this dog in their home and with their family. He's nice with kids of all ages, not aggressive in the least.
