My Story

If you want to help your own furkids and the homeless PALS kids, purchase a $20 First Aid Kit from the Grinnell Veterinary Clinic - 641-236-4461. Be sure to mention PALS and GVC will donate almost 50% of the purchase to PALS!

Hey all you peoples out there, this is Champ from beautiful Grinnell, IA! I was just roaming the countryside, you know how it is...and I got my name cuz pretty soon after PALS found me, they had this really fun thing called a Walk-n-Wag, and I won longest tail!!! Ha ha ha! Now THAT took some serious skill!!

I am just about 2 years old now, about 40 pounds but I was, shall we say, just a *little* bit on the light side when I came to PALS. I mean, I was hu-u-ungry! So Ant Wendy has fed me yummy yummy fud and I have been filling out and feeling great! One thing that wasn't so great was the visit to the dogtor - I'm not 'zactly a man anymore, if ya know what I mean. And they stuck me with a bunch of needles. But Ant Wendy said that will make my furever fambly very happy, so that's fine by me!

Let's see, I LOVE water, I LOVE 4-legged and 2-legged kids. It'd be really cool if you had another doggy at your house who would be my buddy! I've been really good as far as doing all my pottying outside, and I love to play and run outside, but when you call me, I'm good at akshully coming back! Ant Wendy is so pwoud when I do that. I also like a good nap and snuggle as much as the next guy.

Champ's adoption donation is $85, payable to PALS Adoption Coordinator Wendy Kadner. Please contact Wendy at 641-236-4026 or [email protected] to find out more about adopting this happy boy.
