CECILIA

Our sweet Cecilia is sure to be breaking your heart! (And she apologizes for having that song stuck in your head all day now!) Cecilia is a 1-year old Cane Corso Mastiff was surrendered to a local high-kill shelter when her owner just no longer wanted her. She was extremely underweight when she came to us, but has been packing on the pounds and will be about 100 pounds when back to a normal weight.

Cecilia is already spayed and up to date on shots. She’s shy at first when meeting new people, but once she knows you, you can expect to have a 100-pound dog doting around after you!

Cecilia is rather mellow and would much rather sleep at your feet all day that go out for a long hike. She is truly a big couch potato and can be guilty of hogging the bed if you let her. She’s just always so happy to be with you and her stub tail will just wag in appreciation. Cecilia is a joy to walk on the leash and she does not pull at all. Her favorite toys are the stuffed ducks that “honk” like a real duck and she’ll roll on the floor and amuse herself with those.

She’d be best in a home where someone is home most of the day or with someone experienced with the antics of mastiffs. She does not do well with small dogs or cats.
