Hello, my name is Cassie. I am a beautiful 5 year old boston terrier who was recently rescued from a Lancaster, Pennsylvania puppymill. Don't let that full you because I am a sweet, loving, playful girl who just takes a little bit of time to warm up and establish trust to new people in my life. I get along very well with my foster brother and sister. I don't have to be the leader of the pack, but having other dogs in my life is a MUST. I would do better in a home that does not have small children since I do get scared and startle very easily with quick movements or when I feel cornered. Currently, when my foster mom and dad are away I do very well in my crate. Sometimes I do go in there by myself to take a nap or just to feel safe, and it is another necessity in my life. I also need a little more work on potty training and am about 60% there thanks to learning from the other dogs in my household how it is done, but with a little bit of time I will be a pro! I am very leary of men still since I was not treated very well by them in the past. I need someone who is willing to give me some of their time and patience to get me past that. Since I love treats and praise, my foster mom seems to think that I will eventually come around with no problem. I am due to be spayed and have my teeth cleaned at the end of February and then I will be ready to go. Please consider giving me a forever home.
