My Story

1/10/10 ADOPTED! - Cary can hardly believe his good fortune!! He has found a most special Corgi loving couple to make him their very own. He met his new famly for the first time today and it was love at first sight! We are confident that Cary will nicely adjust to home cooked meals, having toys that he won't have to share, and lots of one on one attention. Arroos and Wags for Cary as he begins his happily ever after life.

1/8/10 update: Cary was seen by our program vet and appears to be in overall good health. His vaccinations. were updated, he tested heartworm negative and his blood panel results are within normal limits and his fecal exam was negative. He was such a good boy for his exam and pedicure!!

Fozzie Bear is doing well with losing those extra pesky pounds. He is now down to 33 pounds and feeling oh so much better without those extra pounds slowing him down! Cary rode in the car with the greatest of ease. He seemed to enjoy the outing and sat back and happily rode shot gun.

He has been living with male and female Corgis with assorted personalities and energy levels in his foster home and he gets along nicely with one and all.

Fozzie Bear has lovely house manners and leash manners as well and is a joy to walk about the neighborhood. He is fully housetrained and such an easy boy to have in the family. He l-o-v-e-s to be brushed and his foster momma brushed out at least a bushel basket of Corgi hair from this dear one. Such a dapper fellow!!!

12/27/09 Cary aka Fozzie Bear has just entered our Faery Tails program. Unfortunately his owner, who loved and adored him, has just gone into hospice care. We are happy to be able to take this dear boy into our program and prepare him for a new forever home where he will again be cherished and lovingly cared for. Cary's foster mom has discovered that Cary really enjoys tennis balls and all toys. Although Carey is 8 years old he is very playful and young at heart. He will need to continue his weight loss efforts to reach a healthy weight. Very soon Cary will be visiting our program vet so please check back for updates on this dear cuddle bear.
