Good in a home with
Carter is a 7 month old poodle/pom mix. He was given up because his owner was moving to an apartment. Carter is a typical puppy- very playful and active. He is working on housetraining and cratetraining. He gets along well with the other dogs and cats in foster care.
Carter is neutered, utd shots, kennel cough vaccinated, heartworm tested. His adoption donation is $95. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.
Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.
We do not ship our dogs.
