Carson

update 7/21/09 Carson is both house-trained and crate-trained. Carson walks on a leash and is a good boy. He loves dogs and people, and loves kids as you can see. Carson has done well with children (aged 10, 7 and 4), but may play a bit rough for small children.

Carson is a people dog and may have a bit of herding dog in him, he likes to be busy and active and would love an active, outdoorsy type of home.

He loves a good belly rub and likes to nuzzle, he is a loving boy and will make a happy loving companion.

He does have a bit of prey drive with small animals, therefore shouldn't be placed with very small dogs or cats, as he will give chase to a cat if the opportunity arises. Or a squirrel/chipmunk if they come across his path.

A young male, 55-pounds and about a year-old, CARSON is an energetic, affectionate fellow. Definitely in large part a Golden Retriever, CARSON is a great playmate with other dogs his size, and is affectionate with people. We're told he's "an amusing fellow, playful and funny....and he'll make someone a great pet!" As he's young, (and very newly neutered) he'll of course need some obedience training and guidance to help him become the perfect family member he is destined to be.
