Carli-- Loving

Such a precious little girl! Carli is one of 13 puppies born to Sonoma, a beautiful black Labrador Retriever on 8/5/2008. She weighs about 40# and is black with a little white under the chin and on her chest. She was adopted out for 5 days and it was discovered that she is a litte shy/fearful around new people and new environments. This was very surprising, as she is not like that with us. So, she will need a very patient, knowledgeable pet owner to help her over her adjustment period.

Carli doesn't show well because she needs to warm up to you, so if you want to visit her, you cannot expect much. She does loves treats, which is very helpful to gain her trust.

Carli is so very sweet and so very loving. She smiles, showing you her pearly whites when she's happy to see you! She loves to be held and cuddled. She is submissive with other dogs, taught well by mom. She is fine with cats and children, but we don't recommend small children for her--she doesn't like them rushing her until she knows them.. She is crate trained and house trained. She is smart and agile, she'd have fun doing agility, perhaps.

She is just the nicest puppy ever. Who wants to raise this puppy as a member of their family?

This dog's adoption fee is $250 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies (if over 4 months old), Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (if over 7 months old) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
