UPDATE: Cari has a foster home in NY and is travelling there this weekend.
Cari is a 7 month old female pure bred Anatolian Shepherd dog. Her owners gave her up b/c they did not have time for her. Thus far, Cari has spent her first months of life in a pet shop, then, when this family bought her, they kept her locked in a basement by herself. This is not the best picture of her, the poor girl was terrified as strangers took her out of the basement she called home. Cari is a sweet girl even though she has not had any training. She seems to respond well to corrections and should be a quick learner.She is good with children and people friendly.
Cari is currently in the Pittsburgh PA area and is in immediate need of a foster or adoptive home.
She will be spayed and current on her vaccinations.

This dog is available as a companion dog only
We will try to assist with transport for foster care within a one day drive and for adoption within a two day drive
