Camilla

Camilla is a very outgoing and friendly one-year-old female. We think she is a Dobie/German Shorthair mix. When we rescued her, she had large bald patches all over her body and what hair she did have was oily and disagreeable. After months of trying to determine her problem we finally discovered that, like so many Dobies, she is hypothyroid. Inexpensive thyroid supplements now maintain her beautiful, shiny, red coat. Camilla has lots of energy and she is smart. She is dog-social and loves people. Camilla would make a great dog for an active person or family that likes to go hiking or camping. She might also be an agility prospect or other sport dog. We like Camilla a lot. She does have tons of energy and can be a handful, but if you have lots of energy yourself and want an active, confident dog to have fun with, she may be the right dog for you.
