Calvin is about 1 yr. old Deaf, heartworm negative unneutered male. He was dumped and left on a local bridge for three days until someone called Animal Control. Animal Control found Calvin there, and at that time he was so fearful it took three hours for him to be captured and brought to the shelter.He has been worked with and socialized as much as possible and he has become one of the sweetest dogs in the shelter. He now loves to play with the people, he has learned to trust humans again and he will try to play with the other dogs as well through there cages. He's gentle and submissive, and loves attention and affection. Calvin now walks pretty well on leash for us girls. A rescue with experience in cases like Calvin's would be best, but an approved home will also be accepted. Let us know if you are interested in this very special boy.
