Callie ***Community Courtesy Post***

Callie is an approximately two year-old stray that we took in. Callie looks almost all German Shepherd with the classic coloring of black and tan. She is very sweet and loves to be around her main person. She is always up for a tummy rub. She has gotten all her shots updated. We did not know how long she was a stray and she was skinny when we got her. She has been gaining weight since she stopped nursing. She had her first litter of puppies on 2/19/24. She is a great mama and knew instinctively how to feed and care for her pups. She is no longer nursing and all but one of the pups have found good homes. She does not care for our three small and old dogs. We don’t know if this because of the pregnancy and pups or if will always be that way. She needs a home where she can get lots of activity and love.
