Callie-CalCal-Cal
A little bit about Callie, she is a very smart and loyal dog. She knows sit, shake and is working on lay and stay. She sits and waits next to her bowl for food. She is learning to eat slower and not gobble it down. She lives with two young kids, she is great with them but prefers to play on her terms. She would probably do best with older kids who would be aware of her boundaries or with no kids. She also lives with 2 elder dogs and 1 cat. She would benefit from being with a younger dog she can play with and follow their lead or she also would be okay being the only dog. She is aware of a kennel but is not a fan of being in one. Callie walks on a leash but can be reactive, she will pull and bark at other dogs. She is also very leery of people she doesn't know. She won't let them touch her and dodges them but she loves her people unconditionally. With continued exposure to people and some training I can see her being very successful. She is very active and needs someone that is able to keep up with her with walks and exercise everyday. At the end of the day she is the first to snuggle up on the couch with you. When it's time for bed she has been sleeping in the big bed with her humans. Callie would do great in a consistent but active household. If this is you Callie would be a great companion!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
