Such a nice, handsome boy! Callahan came from a kill shelter in IA. Because he was black, he was the first to be killed, even though he is only 5 months old! Couldn't see that happen, so we rescued him. He is a black Labrador mixed breed. His ears are huge and don't quite know what to do all of the time, so we think he may be Shepherd, but that is just a guess. You can call him what you want..........A little shy at first, but that doesn't last long.
Gets along with other dogs, fine with cats, and is good with all people. He's just a puppy who wants to enjoy life to the fullest!
Crate trained, appears to be house trained.

This dog's adoption fee is $250 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
