Calamity Jane is her name, but her foster mom calls her CJ for short.
This sweet girl is an English Bulldog. They are happiest and at peace when they live indoors with their owners. They do not thrive well when kept outside. If you are looking for companion that enjoys your company then look no further.
Calamity Jane found her way into a foster home with MuttsnStuff a month ago. She was on her way of not making it out of the Shelter. But lucky for her, this foster mom saw her and fell in love with that sweet smile and her quick wags of her tush. CJ is a sweet souled girl, ho has an abundance of puppy smooches to give to anyone that she meets.
She gets along great with her other four legged brothers and sisters that she shares the house with. She could care less about the feline kid who also lives with her. She loves to play with her foster brother and does this funny thing with spinning like a top when she gets excited. She is a big boned girl and is filling out with her meals.
CJ also knows her manners, she walks well on a leash, absolutely NO food aggression and knows how to sit on command. CJ currently weighs 70 pounds, she is by no means overweight, just a broad shouldered girl.
Due to CJ’s young age and size, we are asking that families with children OVER 10 years old please apply. We would hate for her to knock over any children by accident. While we realize many families have children that act appropriately with dogs, we are not making an exception for this requirement. Thank you for your understanding.
CJ is approximately a year old. She will only be adopted to an individual that lives in a house that has a fenced in yard. We are looking for the best possible home for this sweet, lovable girl.
One thing that is a requirement is she MUST go to formal dog obedience. Due to her size and strength this is a must and a certificate of completion is required after her formal obedience classes.
