My Story

Cait was born October 30 2009, and is a Rottweiler mix. She full of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs and also loves to cuddle. She is very calm for being a puppy and is very content to sitting next to you whatever you may be doing. She Is very smart and picks up on this very quickly. She is the leader when it comes to her sister Tress, she’s almost always the first one to step outside or go sniffing in a new room. Although she is a little more courageous I’ve been noticing from time to time she gets a little bit of a spook from strange noises that her sis pays no attention too. With reassurance she gets over it and continues on playing. She has already learned to ring a bell to let us know she needs to go outside. She has also learned to promptly sit down for her treat as a reward from going outside, but oddly enough seems to be a little picky with her treats. Cait is also very quiet and does not often yip, whine or bark, she usually leaves the talking up to her little sister.
Adoption Application
NEW HOPE DOG RESCUE is not a shelter. Our dogs are placed in loving foster homes. WE NEED FOSTER HOMES TO HELP MORE DOGS - CONTACT US TODAY!!!

Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
