At only about one to 1 and 1/2 years of age, this young Caesar is a tri-colour boy and is a playful and friendly boy. Most Bassets are fine with cats in their household, as well as kids who they adore. He is neutered, all shots up to date, heartworm tested negative, started on his heartworm preventative, flea and parasite free. Bassets do best with a family member home during the day, they love to be with their people and not isolated all alone for hours. An at- home job would be ideal for a person with a Basset! They LOVE to curl up on the floor beside your computer and sleep quietly til you are ready for a play break. These natural clowns love interactive playtimes! This is a very jolly dog and will be a great family pet! Gets along with other dogs and is very sociable to all—typical Basset behavior! Not to be allowed off leash—will follow his nose into mischief or get lost easily, Bassets wander off quickly as they have a better sense of smell than a bloodhound and follow the nose wherever it leads them. Needs fenced-in back yard and a house rather than an apartment if possible. You cannot be in a bad mood around a Basset, they will keep you laughing with their antics and charm!
