Butterscotch’s story began in the Texas panhandle, where she was discovered abandoned and deeply traumatized. Rescuers noted her extreme fear, even screaming when approached. Though physically unharmed, it was evident she had endured significant emotional distress. Her extraordinary journey began in a private plane to Austin, courtesy of Pilots N Paws.
For days, Butterscotch remained huddled in her crate, unable to trust her surroundings. Despite her challenging start, with the patient care of her rescuers and foster mom, Butterscotch has undergone an incredible transformation! Her favorite pastime? Splashing around in a pool to stay cool during the hot Texas summers—though she doesn’t mind a good roll in the dirt with her friends either!
Butterscotch is exceptionally bright and a touch stubborn, adding to her irresistible charm. She’s mastering leash manners, excelling in crate training, and making great strides in housebreaking. She’s so clever, that we joke that she might even earn her pilot’s license soon!
This sweet girl has shown incredible strength and spirit, and now she’s ready for a family who will cherish her forever.
