WHO CAN HELP? PLS CONTACT ROBIN TO FOSTER OR FOR HELP Please help us find a loving, forever home or foster and rescue asap for this older gal with lots of love to still to give. Buttercup was found as a stray and is estimated to be 11 years old. The shelter says, she is “Easy to leash at front. Relatively easy to walk. Went slow and is now good with several handlers and affection. Dog takes treats gentle. Sat on command once or twice. The longer we were out the more the dog sought affection. Very easy return. Dog was very content to just wander the yard.“ We have nice video (courtesy of Tom Kiesche) showing her enjoying pets and gently taking treats. Her medical notes show some worn teeth as would be expected, but nothing else glaring in this 56 lbs fluffy girl who seems to have been recently shaved, and expected to be even fluffier with TLC. She is seen happily running around in video. Sadly, on 7/19, the shelter orange listed her and says she is in a 7/26 at 4 pm deadline, but can be euthanized sooner if it her condition declines. She has some age related issues and lethargy which is likely due to an upper respiratory infection she just came down with and is being treated for. If fostering, a rescue would assist with medical. We can obtain complete medical notes if needed.
