My Story

Buster is a 4 year old, 62 lb, Male, Shepherd Mix Buster is currently located in South Texas and will be transported. Hello, my name is Buster. I'm a handsome guy, a bit on the chubby side (aren't we all?), but I'm a pretty happy dude overall. I live with several dogs and cats, and while I get along with all the dogs, I am not a fan of the cats, so we stay away from them. Boo cats! My hobbies include going on walks, playing fetch, begging for snacks, relaxing with my family, and maybe some more snacking. I'm kind of a foodie, so I don't like sharing my food with other dogs - I prefer to dine solo in my crate. I do, however, really love people, no one is a stranger to me, especially if they happen to have treats! I am pretty good on a leash, I get excited if I see cats or squirrels, but otherwise I just enjoy my walk. I live with kids and I'm chill around them (more pets for me, right?) I am good with big dogs but I can be a little too rough with small dogs, so I'm probably better off with dogs my size. I am very food oriented, so I would do great with some obedience training that gives me the opportunity to earn my treats. I am house trained and kennel trained, but I will admit I'd rather be cuddled up next to you on the couch instead. I am at a great age too, young enough to be active, but I've outgrown that silly puppy behavior. I am just really eager to have my very own family that will love me and work with me to help me be the best doggy I can be. Let's start a weight loss program together, shall we? I will be your dedicated walking buddy! Our organization only adopts within the United States. Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut and Maryland with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $300 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip and transportation) If interested in learning more, please email us at [email protected] or fill out our online application. https://www.faithandhopefoundation.org/adoptionapp If interested in learning more about our adoptable pets, the adoption process, or our home based foster program, please contact us at the above email.
