Let's get this out in the open right away. I'm 16. Yeah, I said 16. Do you think this is too old for me to deserve a home? Some of you might say that you can't handle the heartache of owning a senior dog, but believe me, the heartache of not having a home at my age is worse. My owner passed away - talk about a broken heart.
I just arrived in the rescue but so far, I'm a calm, laid back guy and I don't show or feel my age. I'm deaf, and have a little 'frosting' on my muzzle, otherwise you'd never guess my age. I'm a small standard longhair sable. I'm not neutered yet and the vet will decide if this is the right thing for me. I spent my life as a stud.
I'm house trained and am working on learning not to mark, but you might have to gently remind me with a squirt bottle that the leg only goes up outside. I'm not big on pushy male dogs, but I'm ok if they don't try to dominate me. I'm good with cats, dogs, people, whatever. No small kids, please. I'm not interested in being chased, smothered, or teased.
