“Buster is a sweet, sweet, sweet doggie!” was the very first thing his foster mom related about this handsome three year old Lab. At just 56 pounds, he’s longing to be loved and know he’s a good little guy. Buster is a sensitive Lab who was very scared and shy when he came to us after being abandoned at a shelter. Clearly life has not been so kind to him; we’re eager to help him on his journey to becoming a well loved family member.
Buster is housetrained, knows sit, down and come. He loves peanut butter, belly rubs, being with his Lab foster sisters and playing around outside. In his foster home he’s becoming more comfortable with noise and activity around the house, becoming more trusting and learning that he can look forward to kindness, encouragement and hearing he’s a “good boy”. He’s still rather worried and submissive around men; his foster dad is patiently and gently letting Buster set the pace as they get to know each other.
Buster will flourish in a home where there is kind, patient leadership and structure that will help him become more confident. A good natured, easy going canine buddy at home would be perfect to show Buster the good things in life from a dog’s point of view like only a dog can.
Sensitive, handsome, very sweet and looking forward to loving life as a Lab should, Buster is hoping you might just be the special person for a very special little guy like him.
