Buster is a 2-3 year old, Chihuahua/Terrier mix (we think) weighing 10 pounds. He has the face of a Chi but is long legged and, of course, those ears. He is quiet and very affectionate. He pretty much ignores cats and gets along with dogs but would rather be with people. Unlike a lot of miniature breeds, he is not yappy or hyper. He would make a wonderful companion for someone living in a condo or apartment and is the type of dog you could bring anywhere. He rides nicely in a car and walks well on a leash. He is house and crate trained. His adoption fee is $375.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
