BUNKY came to us as an owner surrender by no fault of his own. He was a stray hanging around a firehouse in Memphis. With no one claiming him, one of the firemen brought him home and had him vetted with vaccinations and preventatives and kept him as his personal dog until he realized his 24 hour shifts at a time were not conducive to having a dog. Great with children, people of all ages, and other dogs, Bunky will make a great family dog, according to the fireman that took him home—he needs the attention and safety afforded by a family and would give everyone a good laugh, not to mention all of his love. He has been living as an inside dog, is estimated to be 2 years old, weighs about 25 pounds. Unfortunately, he tested heartworm positive, but we take complete responsibility for fully treating him, as we do ALL of our dogs, and have already begun his heartworm pretreatment.
