Bumble has been through too much in his young life. He was brought to PACC after being hit by a car. After surgery and multiple cast changes, his leg is not healing properly and amputation is recommended. He really needs a foster to recover from this surgery. I have been working with him for 3 weeks, and he is becoming less fearful of touch. He takes treats very slowly and gently from my hands and is getting used to being touched on the back while we walk. In a home he would progress much more quickly. He has endeared himself to people here who admire his courage to keep going. If you have experience with shy pups, please come and help Bumble by fostering him so that he can fully recover from his injury. He is very sweet once he gets to know you.
