Bullwinkle

Bullwinkle is a 1.5 year old, male, yellow lab/mastiff mix. This gentle giant is a staff and volunteer favorite because he is just so sweet. He's obviously had a tough life because he's very shy and timid but he is starting to come around and it's obvious he wants to love, he's just a little distrustful. Bullwinkle loves treats, which is a good thing, because this will help him warm up more quickly. This boy deserves a secure, safe, quiet home with a patient family who will let him come out of his shell gradually. Bullwinkle is just so so sweet, he just needs someone to give him a chance and teach him that not all people are bad. It is obvious he has a lot of love to give and his next, forever family will be lucky to have him. Please let the Shelter staff know you saw this dog on Petfinder.com. All the animals at the shelter are spayed/ neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, are microchipped, and have current rabies vaccines and Alachua County licenses. With all adoptions we offer a free vet exam to the vet of your choice in Alachua County. Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and puppies, $75 for cats and kittens, and $45 for New Hope dogs or $33 for New Hope cats. New Hopes are animals that have been here for an extended period of time.
