BUGSY

Bugsy is a male Smooth Coat Border Collie or mix (possibility could be mixed with Lab) who is estimated at 9 mths of age (8/8/05). Bugsy came to the shelter as a stray with his buddy, Stewart, a Chocolate Lab pup (who has now been adopted!). Bugsy is super sweet, giving lots of kisses daily to his caregivers. He is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. Into agility training or frisbee throwing? Bugsy could be the perfect one for these types of activities as he loves to run and jump into mid-air to catch things and play. Are you more of a couch potato? Bugsy loves to snuggle as well and will do fine as long as he gets a little daily exercise by either being allowed to play in a fenced yard, dog park or go for daily walks. Bugsy has a shorter black coat and is trimmed out in white like a Border Collie, with his white boots, chest and white blaze. Bugsy is medium in size, weighing 35-40 lbs, and is as big as he should get. Bugsy can be a little timid in the beginning until he gets to know you but once he does, watch out as he becomes a licking machine, giving kisses to everyone! He is being worked with on leash training and will be neutered, current on vaccinations and dewormings prior to leaving the shelter.
